Job Description

A client/employer of Insight Global is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead strategy for their Returns and Post‑Purchase portfolio. This role is responsible for defining and unifying the future of returns, tracking, and post‑purchase digital experiences across the digital platform. This is a highly strategic role with strong executive visibility, operating at the intersection of e‑commerce, logistics, SaaS‑inspired digital experiences, and go‑to‑market strategy. The ideal candidate brings a deep understanding of post‑purchase customer needs and the ability to connect fragmented solutions into a scalable portfolio vision.

Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Strategy & Vision
Establish and own the end‑to‑end product strategy for the Returns and Post‑Purchase portfolio.
Define a unified vision across multiple return‑related products and initiatives to bring cohesion and clarity to the roadmap.
Product Leadership & Execution
Drive prioritization, roadmap planning, and cross‑team execution
Balance long‑term strategy with near‑term delivery of customer‑facing digital solutions.
Post‑Purchase Experience Innovation
Design and evolve digital touchpoints consumers interact with after purchase
Ensure solutions are interesting, intuitive, and differentiated to drive customer adoption and loyalty.
Go‑to‑Market Strategy
Develop the go‑to‑market strategy for the Returns portfolio.
Partner closely with various teams to articulate value propositions and enable customer conversations.
Executive Communication & Influence
Present strategy, progress, and trade‑offs to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.
Translate complexity into executive‑level narratives that align teams around shared outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience leading post‑purchase or returns‑focused digital products
Strong background in e‑commerce, retail technology, logistics, or transportation domains
Experience managing product portfolios with multiple cross‑functional teams and complex stakeholder environments
Demonstrated ability to define high‑level product strategy aimed to drive detailed execution
Familiarity with SaaS business models, go‑to‑market motions, and platform ecosystems
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at the executive level
