Job Description
The Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing EVS operations during the evening shift. This role focuses on staff supervision, training, auditing, communication with leadership, and ensuring service expectations are consistently met across the facility.
The ideal candidate is a steady, professional leader who can effectively manage teams across multiple shifts, communicate clearly with hospital partners, and maintain a calm, respectful work environment.
- Will oversee about 25 team members on 2nd shift.
- Provide direction, coaching, and accountability to EVS staff
- Maintain a calm, professional presence and foster a respectful, drama‑free work environment
- Partner closely with a strong Day Shift EVS Supervisor to ensure continuity of operations
- Train and onboard EVS staff as needed
- Conduct quality audits and leadership audits
- Maintain clear communication with leadership regarding performance and priorities
- Work closely with EVS leadership to maintain compliance with hospital standards
Pay rate $25-30/hr

Required Skills & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have previous EVS experience
- At least 1 year in a Lead or Supervisor role
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work evenings, rotating weekends, and overtime as needed

- Previous experience working with Commonspirit
