Job Description
A client/employer of Insight Global is searching for a Utility Processing Associate. This person will be primarily responsible for processing utility invoices for payment. This role involves researching invoices, importing electronic utility bills, maintaining organized records, and supporting Accounts Payable Accountants as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Process daily utility invoices—including electric, water, and gas—to ensure timely payment and uninterrupted utility services
- Verify and confirm prior balances that have been researched and resolved.
- Investigate invoice discrepancies when incorrect entries are identified in the system, determine the cause, and notify the supervisor.
- Import and process electronic utility invoices received via email and postal mail.
- Maintain accurate filing and organization of utility invoices.
- Provide support to other Accounts Payable team members as needed.
