Job Description

We are seeking a junior‑to‑mid level Network Engineer to support a large‑scale, MSP‑led retail network lifecycle initiative. This role will act as a secondary quality, visibility, and audit layer alongside an MSP that is responsible for end‑to‑end device replacement across retail locations.
The ideal candidate is early in their network career, has hands‑on Cisco Meraki experience, and is comfortable in a customer‑facing, operations‑heavy environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a secondary oversight and audit layer for an MSP responsible for end‑to‑end network device replacements across retail locations
• Monitor and track execution of a multi‑year initiative replacing 15,000–17,000 network devices across stores
• Maintain ownership of network lifecycle accuracy, ensuring devices are properly registered, licensed, and de‑registered within the Cisco Meraki platform
• Review and validate MSP work, identifying gaps, anomalies, or exceptions that require follow‑up or escalation
• Act as a coordination point when stores are not ready for scheduled upgrades, working directly with store managers and internal stakeholders to resolve readiness issues
• Track and manage upgrade failures or reschedules, supporting an environment where the MSP touches ~400 stores per week, with a subset requiring additional attention
• Maintain documentation and provide regular status updates on lifecycle progress, store‑level issues, and open items
• Leverage ServiceNow (light usage) to track issues, document changes, and ensure consistent follow‑through

• Customer‑facing experience with the ability to communicate clearly with non‑technical stakeholders
• Practical experience managing network device lifecycle activities, including subscriptions, registration, and de‑registration
• Understanding of network operations fundamentals (deep routing/switching expertise not required)
