Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Senior .NET Application Developer that will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting internal software applications that support residency and fellowship programs. This role focuses on building and maintaining secure, reliable, data‑driven applications used by faculty, administrators, and medical trainees across the institution.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of .NET development (6–8 years preferred)
• Bachelor's degree
• C# (primary language)
• ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core (web applications)
• Microsoft SQL Server (queries, stored procedures)
• IIS (deploying and supporting applications)
• JavaScript and jQuery (front-end interaction)
• HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
• Git and source control
• Able to communicate with non-technical users
• Comfortable owning applications end-to-end
• Experience supporting production applications
• Able to document work clearly
• Comfortable mentoring less experienced developers

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation)
• Experience in healthcare, higher education, or other regulated environments
• Experience modernizing legacy .NET applications
• Exposure to DevOps or automation
• Experience with system integrations
