Job Description
This Pharmacy Technician will join an independent pharmacy in the East Nashville Inglewood area. This is a permanent fulltime position, and this person will be expected to work 40 hours weekly. The pharmacy offers a variety of services including delivery, vaccinations, med synchronization, strip packaging, men's sexual health, point-of-care testing, and COVID-19 resources. This technician will assist in standard pharmacy tech duties such as preparing new prescriptions, refilling requests for patients, dispensing medication to patients, packing and labeling, processing insurance claims, and tracking inventory.
The pharmacy schedule is as follows:
Mon-Thur 8:30am-7:00pm
Fri 8:30am-6:00pm
Sat 9:00-3:00pm
Sun Closed

Required Skills & Experience
- Experience working in a pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy cashier etc.
- Commitment to a pharmacy technician career as the long-term goal
- Strong communication skills and customer service skills to be patient and customer facing
- Reliability and ability to commit to a 40-hour work week
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Certified Pharmacy Tech, CPhT
- Experience working with PioneerRX software
- Experience working in an independent pharmacy
