Job Description

We are looking for People & Culture Manager - Manufacturing to join our People & Culture team at our Rossville
Plant! Our People & Culture Manager will champion our company culture initiatives and ensure the effective delivery of
services throughout their area of responsibility!

In this role, you will have a significant hand in executing an effective strategy that promotes Silver Hills as an employer of

within this hyper-growth, family-owned organization. You must be resourceful and demonstrate a solutions-based
approach to the important work you are leading, as well as excellent leadership and coaching skills. You will have the
opportunity to lead a team, drive change, and further develop your skills working on challenging and exciting projects!
Working closely with the Plant Director and the corporate head office, you will roll out and implement P&C initiatives to
support the effective operations of our Manufacturing at Rossville, TN.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations to provide People and Culture guidance to the hourly staff,
including interpreting company policies, provincial, and national legislation, and People & Culture initiatives
• Lead recruitment and onboarding of new employees including job openings, screening and interviewing
candidates
• Develop and deliver corporate training programs and conduct orientations to prepare employees for assignments
• Address employee questions or concerns and provide functional expertise and People & Culture leadership
• Administer performance evaluations, management, and issue resolutions
• Liaise with appropriate managers for employee departure information, conduct exit interviews, and analyze
results
• Assist with Company events, holiday lunches, and social activities
• Assist payroll complete payroll and related duties where needed
• Serve as a member of the Plant Leadership team with responsibility for developing a team culture that promotes
high performance, teamwork, and accountability
• Lead various core annual programs including but not limited to: Benefits Open Enrollment, Wellness Events,
Leadership Development Training, Hourly Compensation Planning, Talent Acquisitions, Recruiting, Seasonal
Staffing
• Partner closely with the Corporate People & Culture in the area of Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting,
Shared Services, Affirmative-Action Planning
• Ensure the plant complies with all local, state, and federal laws as well as established People & Culture processes
and procedures
• Facilitate communication across the organization, guiding employees and leaders on problem-solving, dispute
resolution, regulatory compliance, and litigation avoidance.

Required Skills & Experience

EXPERIENCE
• You have 5- 8 years of progressive experience working in Human Resource or related
experience
• You have a Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
• You have experience working in a culturally diverse work environment
• You have experience leading and developing a team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

NICE-TO-HAVE

• PHR or relevant professional designation
• You have experience working in a food manufacturing facility
