Software Developer II

This position supports our custom developed apps. Most of the work is user education, data maintenance and bug fixes.
The Software Developer Level 2 designs, develops, tests, and maintains 5-10 custom
applications that support our client's business operations. This role works on tasks of moderate to high
complexity and collaborates with senior developers, software architects and project
managers/supervisors. Success in this role is measured by timely delivery of features, adherence
to secure coding standards, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Application Development
Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using modern technologies and legacies
technologies when needed.
Provide time estimates for deliverables and tasks.
Complete assigned tasks within the allotted estimate 80% of the time.
Ensure code quality and maintainability through secure coding practices.
Participates in and performs code reviews.
Support & Maintenance
Provide end-user application support and resolve issues within SLA timelines.
Track support calls and update tickets in the system daily.
Communication & Collaboration
Attend weekly team meetings and report daily task status.
Communicate effectively with project managers and supervisors.
