Insight Global is searching for a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to serve as a technical leader responsible for the global architecture, reliability, and evolution of enterprise Unified Communications platforms across on‑prem, hybrid, and cloud environments. This role owns the technical direction of core UC services—including Cisco collaboration technologies and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Webex, and Zoom—ensuring high availability, performance, and consistency at global scale. Partnering closely with Network, Infrastructure, Audio Visual, Security, and Service Desk teams, this individual drives architectural decisions, supports global deployments, and delivers scalable UC solutions aligned to business needs.

Required Skills & Experience
12+ years of experience in Unified Communications engineering in large, global environments.
CCNA Collaboration and Microsoft 365 Teams Administrator Associate certifications.
Proven experience owning or contributing to global UC architecture.
Deep hands‑on expertise with Cisco UC platforms (Cisco Call Center 15) and endpoints, plus strong experience with Microsoft Teams and other cloud UC services.
Strong networking fundamentals with experience supporting real‑time communications across complex global networks.
Advanced troubleshooting skills across SIP signaling, call routing, and media performance.
Experience integrating UC platforms with enterprise network, security, and identity infrastructure.
Ability to operate independently, influence technical direction, and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Advanced Cisco and Microsoft UC certifications (e.g., CCNP/CCIE Collaboration, Microsoft Teams).
Experience leading global UC migrations, coexistence strategies, and platform transitions.
Familiarity with UC monitoring, analytics, and management tools.
Experience supporting global conference rooms and collaboration endpoints.
Strong cross‑functional collaboration with Networking, AV, and Workplace Technology teams.
Experience contributing to long‑term UC roadmaps and service strategy.
Agile experience, including feature/user story development and delivery via Jira or similar tools.
