Job Description

A client of Insight Global in the retail & technology industry is seeking a Program Manager to support a middle mile logistics team focused on the procurement of trailers and refrigerated units. This person is going to be heavily responsible for data collection, report writing and managing escalations in this process. This role will involve setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress of project/program in addition to preparing reports for upper management regarding status of project/program. The ideal candidate will be experienced and educated in the supply chain, logistics or commercial trucking industry and will be equipped with handling: escalations relevant to the middle mile process and procurement of vehicles. Answer questions and attend meetings relevant to trailer procurement. Write correction of error documentation as needed. Handle escalations, evaluate processes, etc This role is hybrid in Nashville, Seattle, Atlanta or Arizona – Nashville preferred. 2-3 days onsite minimum Monday – Friday 8-5. This role may require up to 25% travel to summits, team meetings, etc which are reimbursed after the purchase on a personal credit card.

Required Skills & Experience

o Document writing experience - strong grammar skills written & verbal
o 3-5 years program management experience
o Industry experience relevant to supply chain, logistics, trucking or a related field
o Diversity in program management tools - sharepoint, excel, MS Projects, Smartsheets, Quickbase

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in a relevant field
