Controls Engineer

This Controls Engineer will spend the majority of their day on the shop floor, supporting a large‑scale modernization effort across the facility’s molding/modum production equipment. They will be hands‑on with machines daily loading PLC code, troubleshooting electrical controls, refining ladder logic, tuning system performance, and ensuring new and upgraded systems come online smoothly. The role is highly interactive with production and maintenance teams, requiring quick problem‑solving, comfort around energized equipment, and the ability to stabilize machinery during active production windows. This is not a desk or programming role. But rather, a hands-on engineering position requiring strong controls intuition, electrical troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to diagnose issues quickly in a fast‑moving manufacturing environment.

-5+ years of hands‑on industrial controls engineering experience.
-Experience troubleshooting electrical control systems, including PLCs, ladder logic, and multi‑voltage circuits.
-Ability to write PLC programs from scratch and modify/refine existing logic across multiple platforms.
-Experience commissioning, upgrading, or modernizing machinery.

Any industrial automation or controls training certifications (ISA, Rockwell Automation, etc.)
