Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a team of Senior Mechanical Engineers to design complex custom automated assembly equipment using SolidWorks and Windchill. In this role, you will own mechanical design from initial concepts through detailed component development and adapt established methods for non‑routine assignments. You will participate in formal design reviews, incorporate feedback constructively, and ensure all designs meet accuracy, manufacturability, safety, and project requirements. The position requires strong collaboration with mechanical, controls, and systems engineering teams to support full system integration. Candidates must have at least 6 years of automated assembly system design experience and should be capable of producing complete, high‑quality designs under tight deadlines while working independently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience designing automated assembly systems
Proficiency with SolidWorks
Strong understanding of mechanical principles, automation, component selection, and system-level design
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Proficiency with Windchill
Experience as a Project Engineer or similar role
