Job Description
A client of Insight Global in the retail/technology industry is seeking Project Managers to assist with an initiative to update, upgrade & improve their facilities across the country. This will include general building updates as well as the upgrading of manual systems in warehouses & delivery centers, to automated systems. The goal is to improve operational efficiency within the locations to make processes faster, safer and more efficient. We are looking for hands on TECHNICAL ENGINEERING project managers who aren't afraid to get super involved and go onsite. This person will be in the field 80-100% of the time, executing on projects and providing oversight to the 3rd parties delivering. This role will require working outside of a standard 8-5 often times so as to not disrupt standard operations. This person is responsible for carrying out delivery & execution, for mostly, preplanned projects and will need a high level of urgency and attention to detail to ensure timely & accurate delivery. The ideal candidate, has an engineering background within industrial or electrical work and has managed projects similar in nature. The nature of the work will involve a high volume of smaller projects so multi-tasking skills are paramount., The average schedule will include travel Monday - Friday; occasional weekends - if required you may need to stay to oversee the resolution of an issue. All expenses are reimbursable, but must be covered on a personal credit card up front.

Experience manage a high volume of projects & multi task pre work, post work & execution for multiple projects at the same time
