Job Description
We are seeking 3 remote Medical Records Specialists to ensure accurate documentation for at-home hemodialysis treatments. In this role, you will review patient records in the EHR to confirm treatments were completed as scheduled. When documentation is missing or incomplete, you will contact clinics and speak with nurses or front desk staff to obtain the necessary information; some calls may take 15–30 minutes. You will verify treatments by reviewing flow sheets, patient attestations, and nurse attestations, ensuring compliance for billing purposes. This position requires prior experience with medical records, strong verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a production-driven environment. Candidates should be comfortable investigating discrepancies and resolving documentation gaps efficiently. Your work will play a critical role in maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance for home dialysis treatments.

Required Skills & Experience
Experience reviewing medical records (specifically in a medical records department, not just filing/scanning)
Familiarity with EHR systems
Strong attention to detail for documentation tracking
Basic excel experience
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Comfortable with production driven role
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
RHIT or RHIA certification
