Job Description

The Emerging Technology team is seeking a skilled and innovative Model Manager to join our growing AI practice. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and innovating machine learning and Generative AI models that power our latest products and solutions. You will have a key part in determining a model’s operational effectiveness and delivering real value.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience working with AI/ML (can include internships, academic research, or personal projects)
• Strong experience with prompt engineering for LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, GPT-4, etc.)
• Understanding of how LLMs work and their capabilities/limitations
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation
• Experience with APIs and integrating AI services into applications
• Strong written communication skills (critical for effective prompt design)
• Analytical mindset for testing and iterating on prompt strategies
• Experience or strong willingness to learn Azure cloud platform
• Enthusiasm for AI/ML and desire to grow in the field

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, or Azure ML
• Knowledge of prompt engineering patterns (chain-of-thought, few-shot learning, RAG)
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks and AI orchestration tools
• Experience with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar frameworks
• Understanding of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems
• Basic knowledge of traditional ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn)
• Familiarity with model evaluation metrics and testing methodologies
• Experience with Git/version control
• Azure certifications (AI-900, AI-102)
• Experience writing technical documentation
• Background in linguistics, communications, or technical writing (valuable for prompt design)
