Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Benefits Specialist to join their team in Nashville, TN. This person will be responsible for the following:
- Administer and support employee benefits programs
- Process documentation and coordinate funding, billing, audits, and reconciliations
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve benefit claim issues
- Maintain benefits databases and manuals
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations
- Use Workday to manage help tickets and phone inquiries
- Support LOA processes and short-term disability questions
- Collaborate with Payroll, HRIS, and vendors for accurate data and reporting

Required Skills & Experience
Experience with HCM/HR/payroll platforms (Workday preferred; ADP, Kronos, Oracle acceptable)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA/ADA compliance
- Ability to handle tiered inquiries via Workday and phone
- Benefits administration experience (medical, dental, life, disability, FSA, HSA, 401(k))
- Regulatory compliance and audit/reporting capabilities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Workday-specific experience
- Experience with Qualified National Medical Support Notices
- Familiarity with LKQ systems and benefit providers
- Ability to support year-end throughput and knowledge transfer
