Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing third-party licensing administration and ensuring timely execution of business license renewals and regulatory reporting. Key duties include managing communication between internal teams and external licensing administrators, verifying licensing documentation, processing filings not outsourced (e.g., motor vehicle reports, tax filings, reconciliations), and responding to inquiries from government agencies and internal stakeholders. The position also involves researching federal, state, and local regulations, advising on compliance strategies, maintaining confidential records, reconciling general ledger accounts, and supporting process improvements and team training initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

1-3 years of experience in a corporate environment or Licensing/Compliance position.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred - Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize daily tasks in order to meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively and productively both independently and with a variety of people
Strong communication skills. Comfortable conversing with external and internal contacts via telephone.
Ability to exercise judgement/discretion in handling confidential paperwork/matters.
Detail-oriented approach to work.
General knowledge of basic Accounting principles.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
