Job Description
An employer is hiring for a SOX Business Analyst local to Nashville who is able to work onsite two days a week. This resource will be responsible for SOX controls across payroll, finance, and HR. You would be supporting super users, regular users, and automated users for service accounts. There is a playbook that defines what controls should be running. The organization usually runs quarterly on the first day of the second month. Managing and tracking these controls is a big focus of this job. You would also help to create "read me" files so internal and external auditors can track end to end. You would help gather requirements for automations as well. This role will involve presenting to VPs, and collaborating with other internal teams like internal audit. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

6-8 years of experience in business analytics
Experience with regulatory finance, compliance, audit, or SOX
Bachelors degree
Self-sufficient
Comfortable presenting to executive leadership
Able to work onsite Mondays and Wednesday in Nashville
