Job Description

The Live Production Engineer role will sit in Chicago. The job includes the following:
Storyboarding, planning, fine-tuning, and executing livestreamed events via Zoom, Teams, WebEx, and webcasting platforms for internal stakeholders as well as existing and potential external clients.
Curating video, animations, templates, best practices, and playbook documents.
Leading production events and meetings in Chicago's hybrid hub.
Providing and broadcasting content to external stakeholders.
Collaborating on video engagement experiments to collect metrics on viewer stimulation.
Editing feature shows and creating motion graphics.
On average, doing one live virtual event per week.
Responsible for pre-production, production, and postproduction.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of experience in either Audio or Video Engineering
Experience with technology like Black Magic, Tricaster, PTZ cameras, wirecast, vmix, obs, video switching
Knowledge of streaming protocols (Dante, NDI, and SRT)
Basic networking knowledge
Signal flow knowledge
Soft skills and communication because dealing with the clients
Postproduction work in Adobe Creative Suite or other

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preference video engineering
QSYS experience
Production management experience (Run of show creation, customer intake, floor manager, scheduling, customer relations)
Degree in video or audio engineering
