Job Description

Insight Global's client is a growing company that provides compassionate care to individuals with intellectual and mental health disabilities. They are committed to delivering specialized services to our community and are currently expanding their technological capabilities and so we are seeking a talented Director of Software Training to join their team. The Senior Manager / Director of IT Training is responsible for developing and executing the organizations technology training strategy, ensuring successful adoption of enterprise applications across clinical, operational, and administrative teams. This role has a dual reporting relationshipdirectly to the CIO and in close alignment with the VP of Trainingleveraging the enterprise training teams resources, methodologies, and tools to create, deliver, and enforce effective training plans.

The position works closely with Application Teams to understand system build and configuration, validates training content with IT, and partners with Operational Leadership to determine the right delivery methods, cadence, and timing. The role holds audiences accountable for training completion and proficiency, ensuring technology investments translate into operational value.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and own the IT training strategy for all enterprise technology platforms, including EHR, eMAR, CRM, ERP, HCM, and Symplr

Quality/Compliance tools.
- Align IT training initiatives with the enterprise training strategy led by the VP of Training, leveraging existing training resources and tools.
- Integrate training plans into technology roadmaps, project plans, and change management efforts.
Collaboration & Content Development
- Partner with Application Teams to understand system workflows, configuration decisions, security roles, and functional capabilities.
- Coordinate with the VP of Trainings team to design audience-specific learning paths using the Dayforce LMS and other delivery methods.
- Validate all IT-related training content with system owners and technical SMEs to ensure accuracy and alignment with configured workflows.
- Develop standard training templates and content guidelines to ensure consistent, maintainable materials across platforms.

Delivery & Adoption
- Partner with Operational Leaders to determine the best delivery methods (in-person, virtual, eLearning, job aids), cadence, and timing to fit operational schedules.
- Drive execution of training plans in partnership with the enterprise training team and monitor adoption and proficiency.
- Implement accountability measures, including tracking, reporting, and escalation for non-completion or skill gaps.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Establish metrics to measure training effectiveness, adoption rates, and post-training performance improvement.
- Regularly review feedback from learners, leadership, and IT to refine training content and delivery methods.
- Stay current on emerging training technologies, adult learning best practices, and industry trends in healthcare IT adoption.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in technology training or instructional design
- 3-5+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience creating and deploying training strategy across a large scale healthcare technology across an environment (5000 plus employees)
- Understands healthcare regulatory/provider operations understanding and working with frontline staff understand training varying levels at a company
- Strong knowledge of Learning Management Systems and healthcare technology experience (EHR, EMR, CRM)
- Demonstrated ability to partner with IT, training, and operational teams to drive adoption of complex systems.
- Bachelors degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
- Remote in TN, PA, VA, OH, MI, WI, MN, MO, IL, GA, and NC.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Dayforce LMS experience
- Experience with change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR).
- Experience in Symplr, EHR, ERP, and enterprise HCM training delivery.
- Background in blended learning design and development for multiple audience types.
- Any training or technology certifications
