Job Description

We are hiring a Test Engineering Manager in Nashville, TN to lead and manage the Test Engineering team. Responsibilities include monitoring test related issues and allocating resources for timely resolution. You will oversee the implementation of test updates, ensuring smooth integration and minimal disruption while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. You will serve as the primary liaison between the global headquarters, TE Teams within the organization and the customers engineering team.

Essential Functions:
Manage a team of Test Engineers and Test Technicians assigned to test for the customer product
Drive test issue resolution with global headquarters and customer
Monitor for new test software releases; track staged deployment (single rack testing, multiple rack testing, all production) and ensure the process completes in a timely fashion
Collaborate with Global Alignment Team (GAT) on Test versions
Maintain awareness of customer test strategy and provide advanced notice and potential impact of changes
Work with Operations and Process Engineering to define capacity requirements related to test infrastructure
Support communication of test issue details by Test Engineering team to Quality group
Actively work towards process improvement, quality improvement and operational cost reduction
Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field required.
10 years of experience in Test Engineering
Minimum 5 years leading an Engineering Team
Basic understanding of server hardware and server testing

This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Ability to distinguish between colors.
Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit for prolonged periods, move about production and warehouse facilities.

Masters Degree in Engineering
Bi-lingual in Mandarin
