Job Description

Insight Global is searching for a Human Resources Manager to join our manufacturing client in Alcoa, TN. This person will be in a critical leadership role partnering with Tennessee Operations Director of Manufacturing to drive year-over-year operating improvements while ensuring best in class talent, engagement and union relations at the facility. This position leads a team of four and has full HR accountability for a unionized facility with over 1,100 employees. They will partner with line leadership to establish the strategic HR plan, work in partnership with USW members foster a positive labor relations environment, lead an HR team of business partners and specialists to make sure all HR processes are executed flawlessly and with an eye towards continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree
10+ years of experience within human resources while increasing responsibility
8 years of experience in Labor Relations & Unions
5 years of experience in a leadership or management position
Progressive Human Resource experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

HR Certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP)
Labor Relations and team development related certifications
Masters Degree
Flexible working style and ability to prioritize and adapt as unexpected projects arise.
Ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
