This person will help lead the implementation of Virtualization Infrastructure strategy to support full CI/CD pipeline agility for service consumption.
Identify and implement ongoing opportunities for system and process improvements.
Assist in maintaining development standards complying with enterprise standards, ensuring solutions are optimally designed, secure, well performing and integrated with other solutions.
Deliver the objectives associated with problem management, such as customer communication and root cause analysis reports.
Foster key vendor relationships and contract performance.
Document internal SOPs, processes, and training to ensure team members are successful in DevOps environment.
Lead the team with internal infrastructure projects which may require cross departmental coordination to achieve goals.

6+ years experience with Nutanix/VMware or other virtualization platforms
3+ years related work experience in DevOps utilizing SDLC agile methodology
DevOps experience in Public and Private Cloud Environments
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, PowerCLI, JSON, KSH, YAML)
Experience with Orchestration tools (GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible)
Experience with Infrastructure Configuration/Automation development (Ansible, Salt Stack, Puppet)
Experience with Cloud services (Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Bluemix)
Experience with Container and Platform services (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, CI/CD Pipeline)
Experience with Repository tools (GitHub, BitBucket)
Experience with Microsoft and Linux based Operating Systems
Ability to use a variety of open-source technologies and cloud services.
Development and execution of DevOps engineering practices.
Strong knowledge of storage, server and networking technologies and environments.
Ability to comprehend business requirements to ensure technical directions are supportive.
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of business process re-engineering from lean principles to agile processes.
Knowledge of open telemetry observability frameworks, pipelines and publish/subscribe models.
Strong understanding of ITIL core principles for incident, request, change, and problem management.
Bachelors degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related field
Professional Certifications: Nutanix, VMware, Microsoft Azure Certifications
