A client of Insight Global is looking for a QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing experience. You will be working on the testing of a multi-step onboarding flow, similar to application forms or user intake processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on understanding user journeys, finding edge cases, and ensuring that complex workflows - such as tenancy applications or account onboarding - work seamlessly from start to finish.
Testing new features or feature improvements.
Testing bug cards.
Conduct deep manual exploratory testing of application workflows with multiple steps, including user onboarding and application submission processes.
Test for both common and edge-case scenarios, identifying bugs, blockers, or usability issues across onboarding steps.
Collaborate closely with developers to replicate and diagnose defects, especially those related to form logic, validations, role-based flows, and data persistence.
Create and maintain synthetic tests in Datadog for critical flows, contributing to automated monitoring and post-deployment checks.
Provide clear and actionable test narratives and defect logs that reflect real user experiences.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and team standups, helping to shape how features are built and delivered.

2+ years of both automation and manual testing experience.
Manual testing of complex, multi-step user flows.
A track record of testing forms, user onboarding, or application processes ideally across several user types and roles.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to clearly articulate issues and work cross-functionally with developers and PMs.
Property management, housing applications, or fintech experience.
Click and record software (like Datadog)
