Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Solid Waste Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our environmental engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and managing solid waste systems, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement solid waste management strategies and plans
Design and oversee construction of waste treatment and disposal facilities
Conduct environmental impact assessments and feasibility studies
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal waste regulations
Provide technical support to clients and stakeholders
Utilize software tools such as GIS and CAD for system design and analysis
Monitor and evaluate performance of waste management systems
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on sustainability projects

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors degree in Environmental, Civil, or related Engineering field
Minimum 5 years of experience in solid waste management or related field
Expert in AutoCad
Proficiency in waste management software and tools
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
