A client of Insight Global's is looking for an Assistant Regional Controller to join their Accounting team onsite in Nashville, TN. The primary responsibilities of this role will be assisting in month-end closing, creating reports/analyses, including weekly reports for analyses, and assisting the Regional Controller as needed. Many of the reports detail analyses directly related to warehouse operations accounting & finance functions. These include verifying whether the warehouse checked product out correctly, understanding the reasons behind high or low costs of goods etc). - Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related (Flex here)
- 3-5+ years of experience within general accounting - preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger
- Strong foundation in Excel (Pivot tales, VLOOKUP, etc.)
