- Analyze data from various sources to make informed decisions
- Manage budgets and provide funding recommendations to clients
- Negotiate and find solutions to accommodate client's funding requests
- Align project goals and KPIs with strategic objectives
- Support enhanced care management and community services for high-need populations
- Help organizations secure funding to start or improve ECM services
- Assist with budgeting and planning for grants ranging from 3 million to 26 million dollars
- Review grant applications and supporting documents from direct care workers and verify their eligibility based on the program criteria
- Determine eligibility and award amounts based on established criteria and guidelines
- Scoring grant applications (not just checking a box, these are thorough weighted questions that qualify & determine grant edibility
- Write clear and concise reports
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of grant activities and outcomes
- Collaborate with other Grant Review Specialists and supervisors to ensure consistency and efficiency in the review process
- Complete a certain number of reviews per week and meet the quality and accuracy standards

- Experience negotiating and collaborate with stakeholders to find solutions for funding challenges and opportunities
- Human services program management experience
- Medicaid, Medi-Cal or social services experience
- Human Services or government background
- Sharepoint experience
- GrantsConnect software or other Grants software experience (Poweroffice, CommonGrant etc)
