Job Description

As a Labor & Employment Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal counsel on a wide range of employment and labor issues. You will work closely with company leadership to ensure compliance with labor and employment laws, provide guidance on compensation and other employment rewards, conduct internal investigations, and represent company leadership in litigation matters.

Required Skills & Experience

Juris Doctorate from accredited law school.
Active license to practice law as a member in good standing in at least one US state.
6+ years of experience in a dedicated employment and labor relations law practice, either with a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including but not limited to Title VII, FMLA, FLSA, OSHA, ADA, ERISA, and other relevant statutes; experience with labor, workers compensation, and/or immigration laws would be beneficial.
Ability to provide employment advice relating to a mixed employee/contractor workforce.
Extensive experience in Labor & Employment Counseling and Litigation
Expertise in addressing both routine and complex employment law challenges.
Proven ability to provide strategic guidance on federal, state, and local L&E matters.
Preference for work experience with successful direct relationship/union avoidance campaigns.
