Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wire Harness Installation Specialist to join our customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that wire harnesses for vehicles are built according to specified requirements and can be easily installed while considering ergonomic standards. This role requires support during late and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure wire harnesses are built to meet specified requirements.
Facilitate the easy installation of wire harnesses into vehicles, adhering to ergonomic standards.
Document any quality or installation issues, comparing them to requirements and drawings.
Escalate any findings to suppliers, quality assurance, development, and production teams.

Required Skills & Experience

o Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related fields
o Wire harness experience in automotive, aerospace, boat, etc.
Experience with building & testing wire harnesses
o Experience with shared network communication, electronic networks/systems, such as: CAN, LIN, Ethernet
o Solid change management experience
o Experience leading escalation meetings

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Automotive wire harness experience
Specifically harness engineering, testing, or design background
