A music company is hiring for a Remote Scrum Master to support a few different scrum teams. Responsibilities include:
· Drive agile based SDLC for software development adhering to standards, tools, and best practices.
· Perform capacity planning.
· Host daily stand-ups.
· Coach team on process.
· Ensure sprint resource stability.
· Schedule and prepare for demos with team.
· Schedule and run Sprint retrospectives.
· Protect team from distractions.
· Monitor task completion (and Team Foundation Server (TFS) compliance).
· Track and communicate sprint/release progress.
· Help and assist in release planning.
· Maintain sprint management dashboard in TFS.
· Facilitate discussion and conflict resolution.
· Partner with all project team roles and stakeholders.
· Empower the team to self-organize where possible.
· Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices.
· Facilitate the prioritization and resolution of defects/bugs.
· Assist with internal and external communication and improving transparency.
· Ensure the teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability, and visibility.
· Maintain process documentation.
· Help as needed with backlog maintenance.
· Continue education in related disciplines.
· Perform special projects or duties as assigned.
