Job Description

A client in the Chattanooga area is looking for a Project Electrical Engineer that has experience with large industrial machines/equipment. This is individual will be responsible for taking in customer specifications, handling various calculations including voltage drop calculations, creating P&ID, designing control panels, etc. This is considered to be heavy design and project management. Some of the project management responsibilities are working with customers, overseeing a project from concept to completion, occasional travel to customer sites to help support the part and service technicians.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors or associate in electrical engineering

AutoCAD or 3d design software (Autodesk, creo, windchill)

NFPA

P&ID experience

Class 1 Dv2 - explosive environment

3 phase control systems

Previous control panel experience

PLC, VFD, soft starters

Project management - good communication with customer, humility and attitude
