Job Description

This position is willing to pay $65,000-$72,000 depending on experience.

As a Residential Program Registered Nurse (RN), you will be primarily responsible for assessing the medical needs of residents and their children in a residential substance use disorder program. You will be working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess and document the physical and medical, needs of residents;
Ensure the safety of all residents in care;
Coordinate the patients medical care during the course of substance use disorder treatment, while also facilitating health assessments or specialized medical treatment;
Provide medical resources, information, and consultation to residents;
Initiate and assist with coordinating medical referrals to community medical providers;
Partner with the treatment team in maintaining medical, health assessment forms, medical histories, and medication monitoring;
Serve as a liaison for Bethany within the medical community;
Serve as a consultant and resource related to OSHA standards, bloodborne pathogens and tuberculosis;
Completed other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

- Active Licensure as a Registered Nurse in for the state of the work location (RN);
- Bilingual English and Spanish is required;
- Ability to provide excellent and compassionate medical service;
- Reliable with time sensitive deadlines and tasks;
- Must be 21 years old with a valid drivers license with at least 3 years driving experience in the US to operate a vehicle on behalf of the client. Must also pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate insurance coverage;

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience working with women who have a substance use disorder, women who are pregnant, and pediatric experience as a Nurse or equivalent role, strongly preferred;
