Job Description

Insight Global is hiring for a Building Maintenance Technician to support a Commercial Property Management client in Nashville, TN. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of commercial properties. They are responsible for maintaining the facility, addressing repair needs, and preserving the overall quality of the building. This role will be supporting a portfolio of 23 properties around the Nashville area.



1. Routine Maintenance Checks:

Conducting regular inspections of the building's systems, plumbing, and electrical.

Identifying and addressing any issues promptly to prevent disruptions.

2. Repairs and Upkeep:

Handling repairs and maintenance tasks, such as fixing flooring, drywall, plaster, and painting.

Performing minor roofing repairs and ensuring rooflines and drains remain clear of debris.

3. Safety and Security:

Checking and responding to security and safety concerns within the property.

Recommending and implementing safety measures as needed.

4. Inventory Management:

Keeping track of cleaning supplies, tools, and repair materials.

Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers.

5. Landscaping and Pest Control:

Maintaining outdoor areas, including landscaping and pool upkeep.

Addressing pest control issues.

6. Team Coordination:

Delegating tasks among the maintenance team.

Training junior staff members, if applicable.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.

Proficiency in basic repair tasks (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry).

Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and vendors.

Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
