Job Description

A client/employer of Insight Global is searching for a Junior Auditor to join their auditing team. Under general supervision, this role applies established audit programs and standards to aid in reviewing, evaluating, and making recommendations for improvements to internal, operational, and management control systems, as well as business performance. The execution of internal audit procedures involves developing audit criteria, analyzing evidence, identifying and defining issues, and documenting business processes and procedures. This role will require travel of up to 30%.



Responsibilities may include:

-Traveling to branch locations within the continental United States to perform audits.

-Communicating with Branch Managers as well as Senior Auditors to report on evaluations.

-Develop detailed reports to send to upper management.

-Work alongside various departments within the company to ensure financial wellbeing.

-Make recommendations to improve branch locations' future audits.

-Perform routine financial reports.

Required Skills & Experience

-Bachelors degree in Accounting

-Knowledge/experience in financial auditing

-Understanding of financial laws and regulations

-Strong experience working within Microsoft Suite

-Ability to work independently

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Experience in an accounting role
