Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager, to sit remote and willing to travel to California 20% of the time. The Project Manager will be responsible for Transmission Line projects, handling them from cradle to grave. They will be responsible for a variety of utility customers in the CA/west coast area. They will handle all projects as it relates to the structural side of power delivery and/or transmission lines (towers, poles, foundations, corrosion inspection & mitigation, analysis, and design). They will be responsible for client facing and business development. Most of the projects would be retrofits/upgrades to existing transmission line equipment but could also include new builds as well.
Other responsibilities include:
Project initiation - develop client proposals, defining scope of work, schedule, budgets, subcontractors, etc.
Leading project teams, ensuring all goals and timelines are met and followed.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work.
Track project expenditures, cost and schedule performance, and project controls.

B.S. in engineering (civil or structural)
Active PE
7+ years of experience in transmission line engineering or project management.
