Insight Global is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in the Springhill, Tennessee area. The Manufacturing Engineer will be providing support to the team that is on the floor and picking up and helping to solve any issues they are having. They need to be very self-sufficient to be able to work in the plant and interacting with the teams.
Other Responsibilities Include:
* On site monitoring of Bodyshop equipment with defined functional areas of plant need using plant floor systems applications.
* Real time identification and analysis of bottlenecks in the Bodyshop
* Real time analysis and identification of top issues and documentation of top trends in the Bodyshop
* Monitor plant floor issues and escalate if key variables exceed established thresholds.
* Document all control room requests and interactions.
* Track and document performance and create end of shift reports for top issues.
* Collaborate with plant internal stakeholders and lead TIP activity to improve throughput.
* Document events and lessons learned and share with Bodyshop control room team.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing Assembly Teams, Shop Directors, and other Manufacturing Engineering Center Leads to identify areas for improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
* Identify and evaluate manufacturing technologies, trends, and best practices to drive innovation and improve operational performance.

- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing
- Experience with manufacturing & process improvements and working on the manufacturing floors
- Experience using a throughput software
