A client in Nashville, TN area is looking for an IT Project Manager. The consultant is responsible for implementing IT initiatives and related business elements for multiple acquisition projects in multiple geographies. With a focus on SAP/Sage integration projects, the PM will plan and effectively manage all aspects of the Integration projects, including cost, schedule, scope, quality, and project resources. We are looking for a problem solver who can lead matrixed teams to execute and accomplish tasks more effectively and efficiently. As a member of the BTS Global Acquisition Team this role ensures A. O. Smith integration projects align with our objectives and achieve business success
Responsibilities:
* Project management support for ongoing and new acquisition integrations
* Partner with leads from various IT and business functions, Finance, HR, and Operations to ensure the completion of IT integration work is completed in a timely manner
* Participate with the cross-functional team including operations, human resources, IT and legal to create an integration project schedule
* The candidate will have a strong background in technical acquisition integration, planning and management of third-party partners
* Manage projects to keep milestone activities on track and, using sound judgment and excellent teamwork skills, address any issues.
* Identify and manage project risks
* Coordinate project communications
* Identify alternate sourcing models, when necessary, and manage external partners to complete IT Integration to plans
* Utilize and modify BTS integration playbook driving integrations from initiation to completion
* Execute on new and existing technical debt reduction initiatives
* Maintain projects in Smartsheet and report out on a regular basis
* Capture and track forecasted and actual project budgets
