Job Description

A client of Insight Global's in Chattanooga, Tennessee is seeking an HR Director to join their team to oversee 8 manufacturing plants across the United States. There will be 25% travel associated with this role. This individual will sit in the corporate office in Chattanooga, TN and be responsible for workforce planning and management and talent development in all plants, along with talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and managing employee engagement. The HR Operations Director will be responsible for leading staff meetings and ensuring each plant is adhering to safety measures and OSHA policy. Most importantly, this individual will be a true leader and able to manage other leaders and understand present and future goals of the plants by owning overall governance of the teams. The HR director will implement measures and KPIs to track process improvement within the manufacturing sites. Each plant operates uniquely so this individual must be adaptable and able to identify gaps to identify and implement tailored strategies to improve overall state of the plants' operations.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience leading HR manufacturing operations (hiring, turnover, training, etc.)

Strong leadership experience, managing overall governance of operations

Driving measurable solutions to HR business gaps and tracking performance

Safety or OSHA experience

Experience dealing with
