Job Description

A Client/Employer in the Stanton, TN area is looking a 3PL International Logistics Analyst. This company is creating the largest manufacturing venture in Tennessee history and launching a state-of-the-art facility from the ground up. This resource will be responsible for leading the implementation and development of a third-party labor provider tasked with transporting all offshore-sourced raw materials from origin to the locations in the US for this client. This resource is joining this company at start-up/greenfield stage and will take part in the 3PL organization selection and refine the scope and expectations of the 3PL for each location involved.

Job priorities will include: Ensure international transportation processes are developed to create a successful relationship between this company and the 3PL partners, develop and implement performance KPIs for the 3PL, and manage 3PL performance to ensure consistently superior KPI results. This analyst will also analyze transportation spend to ensure BOSK receive the most value for the monies outlaid, participate in annual budget development and invoice tracking to ensure financial goals.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ Years of international logistics experience

Freight Forwarding Experience

Custom Brokerage Experience

Familiarity with management of logistics 3PLs (e.g., was implanted at or worked for a customer of a 3PL)

Excel primarily but knowledge of / familiarity with Access, Power BI, SAP

Strong ability to interface with plant personnel, salaried personnel, and plant management

Strong ability to present in front of plant leadership

Ability to communicate and teach international logistics principles to laymen

3+ Years of international logistics experience

Excellent MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree/Masters degree

Familiarity with / experience in warehousing, trucking, and/or purchasing in general

Degrees in international logistics and / or international trade compliance desirable

Demonstrated leadership behaviors

Previous plant experience

Knowledge of SAP

Experience with Incoterms 2020
