Job Description

An engineering consulting firm is hiring for a Mechanical Engineer for our Industrial Market team. The role involves preparing proposals for mechanical consulting services, effectively communicating technical issues to clients, and serving as a technical expert in mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will assist clients throughout project stages, from feasibility to final design, and be proficient in equipment specification, engineering drawings, research, and problem-solving. Responsibilities also include supervising installations, participating in contract administration, coordinating projects, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, innovative problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in interpreting and creating engineering diagrams. Familiarity with plumbing system design and related codes is a plus. This is hybrid role and this person can sit in any of the following locations: Nashville TN, Detriot MI, Charlotte NC, Buford GA, Jacksonville FL, and Tampa FL.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering (within HVAC or power systems)

Design experience with a consulting firm for Industrial/Manufcaturing/Process projects

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Professional Engineer license (P.E.) is required (Mechanical)

Experience with Revit

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Dynamo or Grasshopper

Experience with software coding (Python, C#)

Experience with Revit API
