· Scheduling appointments and making sure that the patient care is in progress and following the process to assist with scheduling and follow up appointments
· Performs independent evaluation, analysis, research, verification and investigation of provider data, discerns appropriate systems set up, and initiates timely and accurate systems modifications to maintain system integrity for accurate claims processing, payment and provider directories.
· Communicate with Providers, doctors' offices to schedule appointments/meetings - will deal with providers
· Collect and maintain statistical data as directed by the Health Service Administrator
· Support Human Resources Department with updating employee personnel records as directed
· Coordinates Employee Health and OSHA activities as directed by the Health Services Administrator
· Works closely with and/or supports other administrative assistants on projects and in completing work duties
· 1 + years of Clerical/Secretary/Administrative assistant/Healthcare assistance
· Strong Data entry/Excel experience
· Scheduling experience and coordinating
· High School Diploma
· Professional and good communication.
· Experience working in a remote setting: Go-Getter/Self-Motivated
· Excel experience
· Previous correctional/detention facility experience preferred.
· Reporting experience (Provider)
· Formal secretarial training and medical terminology knowledge desirable
