A large retailer located in Nashville is seeking multiple POS software testers to validate and test POS hardware and software systems. In this role they will be the main point of contact for quality assurance of this software and hardware. They will be troubleshooting issues that arise when needed for further validation.
- 3+ years of deployment of POS software and hardware experience
- QA work on POS or mobile applications
- 1+ year of experience validating and troubleshooting POS software/hardware
- Experience with running and patching linux/unix servers
- Experience with MDM software
o Specifically, connection and deployments
- Understanding of how networks are connected, IP addresses and broadband installations
- Experience troubleshooting with windows and linux
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks under pressure with extreme deadlines
- Ability to produce reporting to communicate validation results
- Corporate Retail/Restaurant support experience -- BIGGEST MUST HAVE
