A client of Insight Global's is seeking an Industrial Sales Engineer to join their team in the Chattanooga, TN area. This person will prospect, generate leads, and build relationships with current customers. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for working with engineers and manufacturing teams to understand processes, develop budgets, and create proposals. This individual will help establish partnerships with vendors, clients, and engineers to promote the company's equipment. This individual will have a strong understanding of mechanical and industrial equipment and will serve as a consultant to their clients to sell process improvement equipment. The Industrial Sales Engineer will be a quick learner and a strong team player.
Knowledge and experience with industrial automation / robotics (PLCs - ex: AllenBradley, Rockwell, ABB, RSLogix)
Ability to cold call and identify sales opportunities
Up to 75% travel in the Southeast - 2-3 nights on the road
Exemplified growth in sales
