Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Life Product Support Manager for one of the top financial companies in the Des Moines area. This Manager will oversee a team of 3 product support analysts. They will manage hiring, firing, coaching, development, training plans, onboarding processes. They will also help to guide the overall strategy on process and building out consistencies. In addition to leading the team they will be hands on in helping guide and handle life insurance calculations and helping build the life insurance system. This leader will help the team to deliver accurate, high-quality analysis and testing. This leader will also be in constant communication with the FAST administrator vendor in regards to the product owners’ workload and what needs to be accomplished. They will be working and collaborating with spreadsheets in excel and providing updates between the vendor partner and the internal team. This person will also be tasked to take point on identifying opportunities to automate departmental processes or tools, craft project map and timeline and then propose to the team leadership. The annual compensation for this role will be between $100,000-$130,000/yr.

Required Skills & Experience
• 1+ leadership experience on a product team (Open to someone that has informal leadership and has a lot of product experience)
• 3+ yrs experience working w/ an administration system
• Experience converting old admin systems to newer systems
• 3+ yrs experience w/ Life insurance calculations
• Strong system experience: Visual Basic & Macros, Excel, Access and Word
• Previous Life Insurance product experience
• Working w/ Jira or ADO for tracking stories and requirements
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• FAST Admin System experience
• Experience w/ Illustration systems (20+ yr projections)
