Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Release and Incident Manager to lead and implement our release management processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in release and incident management, working closely with development and release teams to ensure smooth and compliant releases. They will oversee and coordinate the solution design, project execution and implementation of various operational activities and production support of the IT department, as well as provide direction and support for IT solutions that enhance mission-critical business strategies and operations. Key responsibilities include managing release frameworks, coordinating incident responses, and communicating effectively with high-level leadership. The role requires a go-getter attitude, capable of interacting with various teams, including test automation and developers, and addressing issues promptly. The candidate should be comfortable handling outages, coordinating resolutions, and understanding the order of operations and testing in IT releases. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate with the CIO when necessary are essential. Salary Range between $120k-$150k based on experience and locaiton.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum 5 years' experience in IT planning, application development, support, or infrastructure leadership.
Proven leadership in technology planning, operations, implementation, and development.
Strong knowledge of business processes, management, budgeting, and end-to-end integration models, with awareness of best practices.
Expertise in systems management, hardware platforms, enterprise software, vendor management, and managing complex systems.
Solid understanding of CI/CD and ITIL principles, with the ability to prioritize based on business value and impacts.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience working with FAST platform.
Experience in the Life Insurance and Annuities industry
