Job Description

Insight Global is seeking 10 Patient Access Service Representatives to work onsite at hospital locations in the downtown Charleston area. Patient Access Service Reps will be responsible for checking patients in and completing registration as well as scheduling patients for follow-up appointments upon check-out. The ideal candidate will have strong customer services skills and a background dealing with customers. This is a 6 month contract with possible permanent options after that. There are 3 locations that these PAS Reps will sit, but they are all in the downtown Charleston area, so candidates must be comfortable working onsite in a hospital setting. The hours of operation for locations are 6:45am-5:30pm, so candidates must have availability to work in between those times with possible flexibility to work weekend shifts. Saturday hours are from 7:30am-12:30pm and Sunday hours are from 7:30am-11:30am. Each Representative will get a 30 minute break during shifts.

Minimum Requirements

-Previous experience in a Medical Office OR in a customer service/call center position OR insurance verification experience

-Flexibility

-Eager to learn

-Ability to use a computer, PAS Reps will be trained to use Epic

-Ability to type and talk

-Strong customer service skills

-Strong interpersonal skills

Desired Skills

-Experience in medical field
