Job Description
Welcome and check in patients while providing excellent customer service
Verify demographics, insurance information, referrals, and authorizations
Collect copays and outstanding balances
Schedule follow-up appointments, referrals, and ancillary services
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
Maintain accurate documentation within Epic
Support front office operations including scanning, faxing, and record management
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow during the Brio go-live

Required Skills & Experience
(potential float to 312 Harrison Bridge Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29680)
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of experience in a Patient Service Coordinator, Medical Receptionist, or Front Desk role within a healthcare setting
Prior experience supporting referrals, prior authorizations, scheduling, and insurance verification
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Epic experience
Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
