Insight Global is seeking a General Manager for a growing precision motion technology company based in Fort Mill, SC. This individual will be responsible for leading the overall strategy, performance, and growth of the U.S. business while maintaining full P&L ownership. The General Manager will drive commercial initiatives, develop key customer relationships, oversee business operations, and build a high-performing leadership team to support continued expansion.
This role is ideal for a business leader who thrives in complex manufacturing or technology environments and has a proven track record of growing revenue, developing strategic customer partnerships, and leading multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Own and execute the overall business strategy for the U.S. operation
Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
Develop and implement annual business plans and long-term growth strategies
Drive revenue growth through expansion of existing customer relationships and new business development
Lead strategic customer engagements, contract negotiations, and long-term partnerships
Identify market opportunities and growth initiatives across industries including semiconductor, medical device, life sciences, photonics, aerospace, defense, and industrial automation
Build, mentor, and develop leadership and operational teams
Foster a culture focused on accountability, innovation, collaboration, and customer success
Establish KPIs and ensure execution against business objectives
Partner closely with global engineering, operations, and commercial teams to drive alignment and growth
Support strategic initiatives, partnerships, and potential acquisitions as needed

Required Skills & Experience

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
7+ years of leadership experience within a manufacturing, engineering, or technology-driven organization
Demonstrated experience managing a full P&L
Strong business development and commercial leadership background
Experience leading cross-functional teams and operating in a growth-focused environment
Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience within precision motion, automation, semiconductor, photonics, life sciences, or medical device industries
Experience working with OEM customers
International business experience
Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems

Compensation:

$160,000 to $180,000.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
