Job Description

We are seeking a Power Engineering Technologist to support residential development projects focused on delivering reliable electrical distribution solutions for new communities. This role blends project coordination, customer interaction, and technical design support, offering strong exposure to power delivery and utility operations.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in power distribution while working closely with developers, field crews, and internal teams to bring projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for developers and external stakeholders, providing updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining strong client relationships
Coordinate project timelines, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of residential development projects
Support the design and planning of electrical distribution systems for new residential communities
Conduct site visits to assess project needs, gather field data, and collaborate with construction crews
Partner with internal engineering and field teams to align design, scheduling, and construction activities
Prepare and manage project documentation including drawings, material lists, and work packages
Track project progress and proactively communicate status, risks, and updates to stakeholders
Assist in resolving field and customer issues, including de-escalating time-sensitive or high-visibility concerns
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and in alignment with quality standards

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field (electrical focus preferred)
0–3+ years of experience in engineering, utilities, construction coordination, or a related field
Strong customer service or client-facing experience, with the ability to manage relationships and expectations
Understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, or utility design concepts is preferred
Experience coordinating projects, schedules, or cross-functional teams is a plus
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both in an office environment and in the field as needed
