Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Remote Business Analyst, specializing in Cloud Governance to support a large Software Development company out of Hyderabad, India.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to cloud governance, including security, compliance, cost optimization, and operational policies.
Analyze current cloud usage and governance practices to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and risks.
Support the development and rollout of cloud governance frameworks, including policy documentation, process flows, and control mechanisms.
Work with cloud architects, security teams, and finance to define and track governance KPIs and ensure adherence to standards.
Facilitate the implementation of cloud tagging strategies, cost allocation models, and usage policies.
Assist in the evaluation and selection of cloud governance tools (e.g., Azure Policy, AWS Config, Organization Policies).
Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes to cloud governance policies and communicate findings to stakeholders.
Support audits and compliance reviews by providing documentation and insights into governance processes.
Create training materials and lead workshops to promote awareness and adoption of governance practices across teams.

Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years of experience as a BA and specializing in cloud governance
Experience with Azure cloud operations and environment
Experience with Cloud tagging/cost allocation and usage tracking
Understanding of compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA) and cloud security principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in process modeling and requirements documentation
Operational knowledge of the Agile framework and Scrum method for organizing and managing projects.
Requires a strong understanding of organizational change and implementation management.
Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, PowerBI, Excel and visio or similar.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
FinOps experience (cloud spend optimization, financial governance)
Apptio Cloudability experience
AZ-900 or similar cert
